Section of Downs Link closed for 3 months from April 14

A section of Downs Link will be closed for 3 months from April 14 for upgrading work on the surface. This work is funded by the EAFRD - an EU body.  The Downs Link surface has been upgraded in Rudgwick, Slinfold and Henfield parishes. Work begins in West Grinstead parish in mid April 2020. It is expected to take 3 months to complete.  The work will make it easier for walkers, horse riders and cyclists to use the route all year round and is being funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

The attachments include a document that explains about the project and how it is being funded, and an information poster. So as not to contravene our funding agreement documents need to have the EU logo and emblem and would be grateful if you can make sure these are visible.

West Grinstead old station public car park will be closed from 30th March in preparation of the resurfacing works.  The contractors are working to current COVID19 Government Guidelines.
