WSCF submits comments on draft WSCC Cycling Design Guidelines

WSCC is consulting with selected interested parties on its Cycling Design Guidelines. This will be the first set of guidelines to be drawn up, owned and implemented by West Sussex. The Local Planning Authorities and the WSCF were sent the draft at end February with a return date of 31 March. The WSCF has submitted a composite comment made up of comment from each of the Cycle Forums in West Sussex. WSCC hopes that the Guidelines will be approved by the Cabinet Member for Transport soon - at which point they become a statutory part of cycle design on any new infrastructure or revision to existing infrastructure.
